AuTie is a community platform for parents and caregivers of children on the autism spectrum and for autism service providers. The safety, privacy, and dignity of every child represented or discussed on AuTie come first.
Our commitment
AuTie has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any content or behaviour that endangers a child.
Accounts and age safeguards
- AuTie does not allow child accounts. Only adults, such as parents, caregivers, professionals, and service providers, may create accounts.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13.
- Adults must not create profiles in a child’s name or allow a child to use an account without appropriate adult supervision.
Content and conduct we prohibit
- Any sexualisation, exploitation, grooming, solicitation, or abuse of a child.
- Creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, or linking to CSAM or other exploitative material.
- Threats, harassment, coercion, trafficking, or attempts to move unsafe conversations off the platform.
- Sharing a child’s identifying or sensitive information in a way that could expose them to harm.
Reporting a child-safety concern
Use the report option available on posts, profiles, or messages and block the account when appropriate. You can also email support@autieapp.com with the subject “Child Safety Report”. Do not download, copy, or redistribute suspected illegal material.
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law-enforcement authority first.
How AuTie responds
Reports are reviewed and may lead to content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent account termination. AuTie preserves relevant information and cooperates with competent child-protection and law-enforcement authorities when required by applicable law. Confirmed CSAM is removed and reported as legally required.
Protecting children’s privacy
Before posting about a child, avoid sharing their full name, home address, school, daily routine, precise location, contact details, or private medical and educational records. Share photos and videos only when you have the appropriate authority and consent, and consider whether sharing is in the child’s best interests.
